§ Mr. ButcherCurrently there are 4,000 computer work stations in the DTI. The ratio of work stations to civil servants is about 1:3. In five years' time the number of work stations could double to 8,000, resulting in a ratio of two work stations for every three civil servants. However, these future estimates are speculative.
