§ Mr. CorbettTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when it is proposed to make a decision upon an application from the West Midlands police authority for a grant towards the cost of converting a former city of Birmingham children's home at Valencia croft, Castle vale, into a police office.
§ Mr. Douglas HoggWest Midlands police authority was asked last month for further information about the cost of the proposed building work and the lease of the property. When we receive this, we will consider the application along with others from police authorities, in the light of the available resources.
