§ Mr. Alfred MorrisTo ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will meet the charity value added tax and tax reform group to discuss the ruling on value added tax by the European Court of Justice as it affects the building programmes of charities, including those for severely disabled people.
§ Mr. LawsonCustoms and Excise officials have already met the group to discuss the implications of the European Court of Justice ruling for charities, and my hon. Friend the Economic Secretary has also invited them to meet him shortly.
