§ Mr. AtkinsMy Department already offers a range of incentives under its recently launched enterprise initiative designed to encourage business development in all areas of the country. Regional selective assistance is available for investment projects undertaken by firms in assisted areas; regional enterprise grants are available for firms in development areas with fewer than 25 employees to support investment and innovation projects; and in all assisted and urban programme areas DTI will pay two thirds of the cost of consultancy projects designed to improve key management functions.
