§ Mr. NichollsWe are spending some £150 million a year on providing nearly 60,000 YTS places for trainees in construction occupations, and the introduction of employment training this autumn will provide new opportunities for the training of the adult unemployed in construction skills. I understand that the Construction Industry Training Board is already discussing with employers the provision of up to 6,000 employment training places a year.
