§ Mr. NewtonResponsibility for carrying forward the mass media AIDS public education campaign rests with the Health Education Authority.
The authority's operational plan for 1988–89 includes provision for further campaigns aimed at the general public and specific groups in society. These will build on progress made so far.
The content of advertising is a matter for the broadcasting authority concerned, and I am not aware that the provision of appropriate information is precluded by the existing guidelines.
