HC Deb 04 July 1988 vol 136 c400W
Mr. Dalyell

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what are the criteria laid down by the Department of the Environment for the purposes of reviewing the Nature Conservancy Council's current and proposed landholdings; and how the new criteria apply to the Glen Feshie acquisition case.

Mr. Moynihan

I refer the hon. Member to the reply given by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State to the hon. Member for Copeland (Dr. Cunningham) on 13 January 1988, columns281–82, which listed the issues which the Department has asked the Nature Conservancy Council to consider as part of its current review of national nature reserves. The NCC has no plans to acquire Glen Feshie.
