To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list the names and addresses of(a) all nurse members on health authorities and special health authorities and (b) generalist members on health authorities who are nurses.

Nurse members currently serving on health authorities in Wales are:

  • Ms. M. Waliams—(Clwyd District Health Authority)
  • Mrs. D. M. Tyler—(East Dyfed District Heath Authority)
  • Mrs. J. Evans—(Gwent District Health Authority)
  • Mrs. M. P. Wiliam—(Gwynedd District Health Authority)
  • Mr. D. Thomas—(Mid Glamorgan District Health Authority)
  • Miss J. Sinnott—(Pembrokeshire District Health Authority)
  • Mr. D. Williams—(Powys District Health Authority)
  • Mrs. C. M. Owen—(South Glamorgan District Health Authority)
  • Miss V. Burns—(West Glamorgan District Health Authority)

Of the generalist membership appointed by the Secretary of State, the following two individuals are nurses:

  • Mrs. S. G. Badland—(Clwyd District Health Authority)
  • Mrs. H. M. Jones—(East Dyfed District Health Authority)

In addition, Mrs. Noreen Edwards CBE, chairman of the Gwynedd district health authority, is a former matron.

Updated records of the occupations of local authority membership are not held centrally.

There are no nurse members on special health authorities in Wales.
