§ Mrs. ChalkerThe Anglo-Irish Intergovernmental Council last met in November 1985. It continues to provide a framework for a wide variety of meetings between the two Governments, including those of the Intergovernmental Conference established by the Anglo-Irish Agreement of 1985. This was explicitly set up within the framework of the AIIC. There will continue to be regular meetings, including those of the AIIC coordinating committee and its cultural and educational working group.
