§ Mrs. CurrieThis is a matter for the Portsmouth and South East Hampshire health authority but I understand that preliminary negotiations are in progress between the health authority and the Portsmouth city council, prior to the submission of a formal planning application for the future use of surplus land and buildings at St. James' hospital, Portsmouth.
The health authority is unable at this early stage of the disposal process, to say when it may be possible to market this property. My hon. Friend may wish to contact the chairman if he requires further details.
