§ Mr. NeedhamFruit machines and other slot machines which are used for gaming are already illegal in these premises under the provisions of the Betting, Gaming, Lotteries and Amusements (Northern Ireland) Order 1985. However, I am aware that there are problems associated with the illegal use for gaming of certain types of machines which are designed for amusement only, for example video poker machines and I am considering what action, needs to be taken in regard to these.
