§ Mrs. CurrieUnder the terms of European Community regulations, United Kingdom nationals receive medical treatment in Spain from the Spanish state health care system on the same basis as Spanish nationals. Negotiations are currently taking place to ease access to the Spanish state system and to provide more information about it. United Kingdom nationals may also of course, if they wish, use Spanish private sector health care facilities paid for by themselves or by private insurance.
