1 The wards which cover Peterlee are Shadforth, Acre Rigg, Blackhalls, Dene House, Easington Colliery, Easington Village, Eden Hill, Haswell, Horden North, Horden. South, Howletch, Passfield, Shotton, South Hetton.

The wards which cover Seaham are Dawdon, Deneside, High Colliery, Murton East, Murton West, Park, Seaham, South.

Mr. Cummings

To ask the Secretary of State for Employment how many job vacancies were registered in the Peterlee and Seaham jobcentres in November and December 1987.

The following information is in the Library. The numbers of vacancies notified to Peterlee, Seaham and Wingate jobcentres between 8 November and 4 December 1987 was 364. Separate figures for Seaham and Peterlee jobcentres are not collected. Figures are not yet available for the period 5 December 1987 to 8 January 1988.
