HC Deb 25 January 1988 vol 126 cc32-3W
Mr. Campbell-Savours

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence whether the ICCS command control computer system at High Wycombe strike command headquarters works to the requirements as set out in the original specifications.

Mr. Sainsbury

The relatively small element of the ICCS command control computer system for strike command headquarters at High Wycombe has been satisfactorily tested in a working configuration against the original specification and will be installed at High Wycombe as soon as building work permits.

Mr. Campbell-Savours

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what has been the total cost of the ICCS command control computer system at High Wycombe.

Mr. Sainsbury

The High Wycombe element of the ICCS command and control computer system represents but a small part of the total and cannot be separately identified. The United Kingdom national contribution to the whole ICCS computer system is some £40 million.
