§ Mr. LuceGovernment forms are now easier to understand, simpler to complete and more attractive than ever before. In December 1987 Government Departments won two of the eight annual awards presented by the Plain4W English Campaign. Since 1985, 20,000 forms have been improved and a further 11,000 have been scrapped. A copy of the latest progress report on this work has been placed in the Libraries of Parliament.
