Winget-type Houses

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list in theOfficial Report the total numbers of Winget-type houses in each housing authority area in England where such houses exist.

Information on the distribution of all designated dwellings by local authority was obtained in 1983 and updated in July 1986; copies of this are in the Library. Further updated information is being assembled and I shall arrange for this to be placed in the Library shortly. The following local authorities reported Winget properties in their area:

	Dwellings
Kingston-upon-Hull City Council	889
Norwich City Council	469
Wakefield City Council	1210

All but nine of these were in council ownership.
