§ Mr. SainsburyThe latest figures available are for 1985–86, when it was estimated that 285,000 people were directly and 230,000 indirectly employed in United Kingdom industry providing goods and services to the Ministry of Defence. Estimates for 1986–87 should be available in the next two months.
