To ask the Lord President of the Council on how many occasions in 1987 the House was notified of the imprisonment of a right hon. or hon. Member or Members; how many Members were the subject of such a notification; and if he will make a statement.

The House was notified of the imprisonment of a Member on three occasions in 1987:

  • 28 January — Mr. Harold McCusker
  • 25 June — Mr. Ken Maginnis
  • 21 October — Mr. Peter Robinson.
