§ Mr. LuceThe total cost to public funds of the central Government expenditure programme of the Office of Arts and Libraries in the financial year 1987–88 is estimated at £360.6 million. The corresponding figures for the years since 1983–84, when the OAL was established as a separate Department, are as follows. They include provisions for the British Museum (Natural History).
