§ Mr. Michael SpicerThe Central Electricity Generating Board announced in October last year its plans for fitting flue gas desulphurisation equipment to coal-fired stations at Drax and Fiddlers Ferry in a programme extending until 1997. The board inform me that they expect to be in a position to submit an application for consent to the first stage of this programme at Drax imminently.
