§ Mr. RidleyOur national committee for European Year of the Environment has been notified of more than 3,000 events and projects taking place in the United Kingdom under the EYE banner. I warmly welcome this excellent British contribution to the year and I pay tribute to the committee for its successful campaign to increase public involvement in caring for the environment.
