§ Mr. WinnickTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when Walsall metropolitan borough council will be notified of the outcome of the applications for estate action allocation for several estates in the borough.
§ Mrs. RoeWe have already approved £2.72 million of additional resources this financial year for Walsall's estate action schemes at the Rose Hill and Delves estates. The borough council's outline bids for new EA schemes in 1988–89 are being assessed alongside schemes submitted by other local authorities and we will be inviting authorities to work up successful bids in February. Schemes will then be approved as soon as satisfactory detailed submissions are received.
