§ Mr. LawsonThe United Kingdom has almost completed its programme of converting old aid loans into grants to the least developed countries. To date seven sub-Saharan African countries have been granted repayment periods of between 15 and 20 years on their officially guaranteed debts when rescheduling through the Paris club.
