§ Mr. TrippierSince urban regeneration grant was introduced, four offers of grant totalling £7.62 million have been made for projects in Manchester and Dudley. This grant is expected to attract £34.32 million of private investment into these areas. Approval in principle has been given to a project in Blackburn. Ten projects are under appraisal and a number of others are being discussed informally with the Department.
