Mr. Dalyell

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs for what reasons Simon Armstrong, general manager, has asked to resign from the Falkland Islands Development Corporation; and if he will make a statement.

As the Falkland Islands Development Corporation has already explained, Mr. Armstrong has asked to he transferred from the Falkland Islands because of an irreconcilable conflict of personalities within the local administration.
