To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what, at 1988 prices, has been the level of Government subvention to the Scottish Development Agency in each year since its establishment.

As Government expenditure on the SDA is expressed in net terms, the figures are not illustrative of total agency resources over the years. This also partly explains the variations between years.
