§ Mr. RentonInformation is not readily available in the form requested. However, during 1987 some 1,615 persons applied for asylum on arrival at Heathrow, Dover and Gatwick. Their principal countries of origin were:

Information relating to the whereabouts of those granted temporary admission is not kept centrally and could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
