§ Mr. Neil HamiltonTo ask the Lord President of the Council (1) if he will take steps to ensure that the mineral waters sold by the Refreshment Department are fully British owned, fully meet the requirements of the Natural Mineral Water Regulation 1985 and conform to European Community directive No. 80/778; and if he will make a statement;
(2) what information he has as to which of the natural mineral waters it is proposed to sell in the House do not meet the requirements of EC directive No. 80/778; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. WakehamThe Catering Sub-Committee is shortly to decide which mineral waters are in future to be provided for sale in the House; and I am sure that in reaching its conclusions it will take account of the requirements of the regulations and the EC directive.
