§ Mr. Douglas HoggIn May 1977 female prison officers were invited to apply for posts at the male prison listed in column A for deployment to Crown courts to receive female offenders surrendering to bail. In November 1987 female prison officers were invited to apply for posts at the male establishments listed in column B for deployment to Crown courts as above, on searching duties and on additional tasks which do not impinge upon consideration of privacy and decency.
