§ Mrs. CurrieAs reported in "OPCS Monitor" issued on 11 August 1987, difficulties have been experienced with the statistical returns giving detailed information on all aspects of adoption, including the characteristics of adopted children. Insufficient numbers of completed returns have been received to yield reliable statistical information. The results of an inquiry are being analysed to see what corrective measures should be introduced. In the meantime, information on adoption continues to be available in "OPCS Monitor" (series reference FM3), copies of which are available in the Library.
