All imports to Turkey are current subject to the following:
Municipal tax — 15 per cent. of applicable import dutyCustoms charges (incl stamp tax) — 2 per cent. approximately of cif valueStamp duty—8 per cent. of cif valueImport premium—6 per cent. of cif valueWharf dues—5 per cent. of the sum of the cif value plus import duty, municipal tax and stamp tax on customs declarations.In addition imports of acrylic yarn are liable to:
Import duty—10 per cent. of cif valueHousing fund contribution—US$ 100 per tonne.
