To ask the Lord President of the Council if he will take steps to exclude turtle soup and veal from restaurant menus within the Palace of Westminster; and if he will make a statement.

§ Mr. Wakeham
Turtle soup is not available in the House of Commons restaurants and cafeterias; only mock turtle soup is served. Veal will continue to be served, but all veal supplied to the House is humanely killed.
