§ The Prime MinisterA file from my office dating from 1957, listed in the Public Record Office under the heading "Leader of the Opposition", has been closed for 75 years under section 5(1) of the Public Records Act 1958. The file was closed in accordance with the criteria set out in paragraphs 26–27 of the White Paper "Modern Public Records", Cmnd 8531, March 1982.
