§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThe Prime Minister has asked me to assist her in the co-ordination of Government action on inner cities, and its presentation.
While there will be no change in the departmental responsibilities of Ministers with programmes involved in inner city regeneration, I will in particular be available as an initial point of contact in Government for private sector companies wanting to offer their support for our action for cities.
