To ask the Prime Minister why the system for registration of deaths in England differs from that in Scotland.

§ The Prime Minister
The death registration systems in England and Scotland are governed by separate statutory provisions which arise from differences in the legal systems of the two countries and from the different functions of the office of coroner and procurator fiscal.
