§ Mrs. ChalkerThe usual forecast was deposited in the House last week. At present, only two meetings of the Council of Ministers are planned for January.
The Agriculture Council meets on 18/19 January and is expected to discuss preparations for the European Council, beef balance sheets and quotas, and the extension of Greek national measures for table olives.
The Foreign Affairs Council will meet on 25/26 January. Discussion will cover the Community's financial situation and progress made in negotiations with Hungary on a trade and co-operation agreement.
