Mr. Robert Hughes

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish in the Official Report the total amount of grant to industrial projects in(a) the constituency of Aberdeen, North and (b) Aberdeen by the Scottish Development Agency or the Department of Trade and Industry for each year since 1979 in (i) cash terms and (ii) real terms in 1986–87 prices, showing the percentage changes in payments between years.

[holding answer 26 October 1987]: As a result of changes in constituency boundaries the information in respect of the Scottish Development Agency is available only from 1983–84 and relates to all recognised schemes of agency financial assistance. The information is set out in the table below:
