§ Mr. MoynihanThe many studies into stomach cancer and nitrate concentrations in water have not established78W any links in so far as nitrate is converted to nitrite in the body. Furthermore, Government medical advisers have advised that nitrate and nitrite concentrations in public water supplies are not a health risk. This advice has been confirmed by independent medical experts.
