(3) how many copies of the fact sheets relating to the Local Government Finance Bill were made available, and to whom.

Mr. Howard

The fact sheets and question and answer briefing referred to by the hon. Member were produced as part of a press pack for use by the media on introduction of the Local Government Finance Bill. Three hundred copies were sent to national and local media and about 100 copies were made available at the press conference itself. Copies were also provided to the Library of the House.

Other copies of the material have been provided to individuals on request, but no record has been kept of the numbers or to whom they have been sent.
