To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will give, for the last year for which figures are available, the total and a breakdown for each health board, of(a) the number of general practice premises and (b) the amount directly reimbursed to unrestricted principals in general practice for the cost of providing premises under the rent and rates scheme; and if he will make a statement.

The information requested on the amount directly reimbursed to unrestricted principals in general practice for the cost of providing premises under the rent and rates scheme is as follows:
