§ Mr. PortilloThe information on the number of claimants in receipt of supplementary benefit is not held centrally and is being collated from a number of sources. It will be placed in the Library as soon as possible. Information on the number of claimants receiving single payments is not kept and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost. The remaining information has been placed in the Library today. I apologise to the hon. Member for the delay in providing this information.
