§ Mr. Harry BarnesTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what information he has as to how many children in the following inclusive age ranges live with a parent or parents in bed and breakfast accommodation(a) birth to three years, (b) four to five years, (c) six to seven years, (d) eight to 11 years, (e) 12 to 14 years and (f) 15 and 16 years; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mrs. RoeAt 30 September 1987, there were 11,240 households temporarily placed in bed and breakfast accommodation by English local authorities under the homelessness provisions of the Housing Act 1985. Information on the number of children in these households is not collected by the Department.
