To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what is the role and composition of the Northern Ireland training and advisory team.

There are two Northern Ireland training and advisory teams responsible for advising and assisting in the training of all units, due to deploy to Northern Ireland in the internal security role; a team of 41 officers and men for units of the United Kingdom Land Forces and a team of 43 for units of the British Army of the Rhine.
