§ Mr. David MitchellMy Department's consultative document No. 7, issued on 23 December 1987, proposed the individual weighing of all lorries before loading on to class II and II(A) roll-on/roll-off passenger ferries. Some of the responses to the Document drew attention to the cost of compliance with this proposal particularly in remote areas. These responses are now being considered.
