HC Deb 25 February 1988 vol 128 c296W
Mr. Allen

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services what steps his Department will take to ensure that Nottingham family practitioner committee, as agent for his Department's stationery for doctors(a) retain adequate stocks of A5 envelopes for women No. FP6B, (b) begin to stock A4 stationery and (c) assist those doctors wishing to convert from A5 to A4 stationery.

Mr. Newton

I know of no problem with regard to stocks of FP6B envelopes. The necessary A4 stationery is available for those who require it either direct from Her Majesty's Stationery Office or from stocks held by the family practitioner committee; the method of supply is for local arrangement. We do not regard it as a matter of priority to allocate funds to assist the change from A5 to A4 stationery for medical record purposes.
