§ Mr. Newton[holding answer 19 January 1988]: I am today announcing the establishment of an income generation unit within the Department. The unit will be headed by Mr. Ron Kerr, district general manager of North Hertfordshire health authority on secondment to the Department. The unit will form part of the NHS Management Board's financial management directorate and will advise the board, and through it Ministers, on issues relating to income generation.
