§ Mr. Charles Wardle
To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland when he intends to publish the Northern Ireland public expenditure commentary; and if he will make a statement.

§ Mr. Stanley
The "Northern Ireland Commentary on Public Expenditure Plans 1988–89 to 1990–91" has been published today. Copies are available in the Vote Office. This is the first Northern Ireland commentary and it aims to improve the information available to Parliament and the public by amplifying the material in the Northern Ireland chapter of "The Government's Expenditure plans 1988–89 to 1990–91". (Cm. 288–II).
