To ask the Minister for the Arts if he will make a statement on his recent visit to Liverpool.

I have visited Liverpool twice in recent weeks. On 26 November I visited a wide range of arts facilities and on 16 February I participated in two television programmes on the arts. I am impressed by the range of performing arts and museum and gallery facilities in Liverpool.
