§ Mr. WareingTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list those hospitals in each health region which provide radiotherapy services, showing how many patients were treated by each of those units; which units have been closed; and which new units have been opened, in each of the last three years.
§ Mrs. Currie[holding answer 11 January 1988]: The available information is given in the table for those hospitals which in 1983 reported having radiotherapy equipment. No such treatment centres are known to have opened or closed since that date. The numbers of patients are taken from the "NHS Hospital Activity Returns SH3 return part EDP6G".
