To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what information he has as to the extent of foreign involvement in the promotion of and betting upon dog fighting; and if he will make a statement.

None, although we are, of course, aware of the recent allegations of such involvement. The police work closely with officials of the RSPCA in the investigation of alleged offences relating to dog fighting.
